We are all human.
White people who don’t want to admit the faults of white history. White people who still benefit from being white. White people who don’t have to worry about police brutality or discrimination. (via black—lamb)
Maybe I don’t understand the context of this post, but let me get this straight; your struggle for human equality and equal treatment of all human beings is undermined by your skin color if you’re white? You’re not allowed to preach oneness amongst our race? I admit how treacherous white/western history has always been. I try teaching people things and events that are kept suppressed by the mainstream. I admit that being white has helped me in life, even in subtle and unseen ways. I have always worked to afford the same treatment for all living beings. But not have to worry about discrimination because I’m white? Try being white in an equality movement, and a male to boot; being told you’re a monster, that you’re to blame, the root to all horror and terror, that no matter how conscious you are of yourself & others, you’re always going to be ignorant and a threat because of those that resemble you. Do you see this very post? I’ve never been discriminated in one way or another? Please, do go on. To me, that is an ignorant statement and an ignorant view altogether. I am extremely disappointed in the people that think dividing ourselves under the pretense of working towards equality is the route to go by. All inclusive, never exclusive.
Educate one another, don’t mock each other.
